Erik DeLuca (USA)
Emily Doolittle (Canada/USA)
David Kirtley (USA)
Yuko Ohara (Japan/UK)
Thomas Osborne (USA)
Matthew Peterson (USA/Sweden)
Catherine Phang (USA/Korea)
Anna Romashkova (Russia)
It brings us joy to see so many musicians from around the world project awareness of the natural environment through their works. We are really looking forward to sharing these works with you.
InnoVox is excited to host their first Green Concert that will be centered around environmental awareness and welcomes your involvement! The concert will take place on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the ShapeShifter Lab in Brooklyn, NYC. It will present works chosen from our Call for Scores. We are seeking acoustic, electro-acoustic, and electronic works that will inspire audience members to broaden their awareness of their natural environment through sound. We encourage collaborative submissions that incorporate other mediums, such as film, dance, and other visual arts. With the support of Joel Chadabe, founder of Ear to the Earth, and the Electronic Music Foundation, we are hoping to use our strength as musicians to communicate our love and concern for the future of the natural environment.
